This is a mix of premium peat moss, sand, and perlite. Hand washed and mixed, ready to be hydrated and used. This mixture has excellent aeration and drainage for pygmy sundews. It is airier and less soggy than typical bog plant mixes as pygmy sundews prefer well drained, moist soils.
Great for most species of Pygmy Sundew (some might benefit from additional drainage which should be noted in their page). Gemmae can be started directly on this mix or a topper of akadama can be added.
