MaxSea kelp-based fertilizer is a water soluble plant food that is excellent for all species of pitcher plants (Nepenthes, Heliamphora, Sarracenia, Darlingtonia), Butterworts (Pinguicula), and Bladderworts (Utricularia). Mix 1/4 TSP into 1 gallon of distilled water and dissolve.

For Pitcher Plants, use a plastic pipette to feed directly into the pitchers. Advanced growers will also foliar feed by spray a dilute solution onto the leaves of Nepenthes as well.

For Butterworts and Bladderworts, lightly spray the leaves with a fine mist.

This bag will last for 1 year of feeding every 2 weeks (24 gallons of solution).

Read instructions for how to prepare the food and feed the plants. Different species require lighter or heavier feeding. It is always best to start light and slowly increase the feeding while observing how your plant responds.
